Matthew Chard became a Partner on 1st March 2003 having previously been a Manager for six years.Jamie Watkins (Managing Partner) Responsible for all aspects of Tax planning across the practice portfolio, particularly in areas such as Capital Gains Tax and Business Tax generally, he also oversees the operation of the firm’s computerised Tax Return production. Internally, he is responsible for the smooth running of the firm and for ensuring that all Partners and staff work to the highest standards in providing a first class client service. Graeme King (Business Development Partner) Responsible primarily for advising owner/managers of business from new start-ups to well established local companies. He advises clients on tax planning, acquisitions and disposals and strategic business planning, areas in which he has acquired a formidable range of expertise and experience. Matthew Chard (IT and Audit Partner) Responsible for the overall planning and direction of the Firm’s audit procedures, he also liaises closely with clients on IT related matters, particularly installation of Sage and other packages as appropriate, Internally he is responsible for ensuring that our in-house IT systems are running efficiently together with ensuring that the firm’s audit standards are kept up-to-date with ever changing developments.
